Mike was lucky to draw on a Antelope permit this year. He and Lyle woke up early Friday and headed out to the desert. They spotted this great buck and Mike crawled about 500 yards to get close enough for a muzzle loader shot. Three hours later he had this big boy in his hands. Anyone who knows Mike knows that he is a happy man. A great start to a hopefully great hunting season for him this year.

Elizabeth... we totally want to come out and see Grandpa's old house. The garden is FANTASTIC. I am so impressed with the design. It was good to hear from you!! See you at the reunion??! :)
Oh my! Mike is quite the hunter. What a fun day for him.
JUST WHO YOU CALLING OLD!!!!
Glad to see your improving in your hunting skills, Mike.
Hey Elizabeth!
Your blog looks great! I agree with Cutlers, the garden looks great! It makes me a little nostalgic to see Grandpa and Grandma's house, but I am so glad that it stayed in the family. I think you are doing a great job taking care of it!
Well, I hope to see you at the reunion (if I don't have a baby first!). Your boys are so cute!
Love Karen
Wow!!!! look at you guys blogging away. I am proud of you for not needing my help-way to go!!!! That is a doozy Mike :)
Hey Liz, this is Lacey Johnson Allen. I was one of Glow's friends in school I used to crash at your parents house all the time when we were young. You prob don't remember me, but I remember you and glow fighting and then making up and I remember how much she loved you. Anyway you prob think I am nuts for this coment, but I just wanted to say hi and tell you that you have a beautiful home and yard and your garden is amazing.
I wish my garden looked half as awesome as yours!
